Social Adventure Dog Walks
Laura has been walking my border collie Freddy twice a week for four years now. Laura has always been so helpful with any problems I have had with Freddy and made excellent suggestions. If anything untoward has occurred during his walk Laura either leaves me a note in the kitchen or sends a text. If I need to make any last minute changes or request extra dates they always manage to fit Freddy in. I would not have been able to manage with full time work and a dog that needs lots of exercise without Laura. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. G.C.
Does your dog need some exercise and stimulation during the daytime whilst you're out at work or running errands? Our social small group adventure dog walks provide just that, allowing them to have an lovely long exercise session in the local countryside, with a small group of carefully matched dogs. Clients commit to a minimum of 2 set days each week for regularity and familiarity with us and their doggy pals.
As well as providing exercise for your dog, we also incorporate some enrichment and mental stimulation, encouraging them to work their full body and mind, including some basic scent work and treat foraging, basic training, natural agility in the woodlands, and other games, as exercising your dog's mind is equally as important as exercising their body! For dogs who don't have a strong recall, we can keep them safely on a harness (owner to provide) and flat lead.
Thi service runs Monday-Friday, and is perfect for dogs who are happy interacting with other dogs and interact nicely, and who can safely manage an hour long walk. This isn't appropriate to socialise/habituate/desensitise dogs with other dogs, or who are under 8 months of age.
You can even upgrade your service and we will give your dog a spritz of conditioning shampoo spray, after a warm shower, and pamper them with some nose and paw balm!
We collect your dog from your home and return them home at the end of the session, with the walk taking place near the middle of the working day, lasting for about an hour-plenty of time for them to use up their energy, and be ready for a nap by the time they return home.
Your dog will be in incredibly safe hands as we're highly experienced, we're DBS (previous CRB) checked, hold extensive specialist insurance, and have won and been shortlisted for multiple awards. We take down detailed information on your profile on our client portal so get to know your dog and their needs, before meeting them during your complimentary consultation visit. We can also send regular updates to provide added peace of mind.
